Country Women's Association

THE AIM OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE TO IMPROVE THE WELL-BEING OF ALL PEOPLE ESPECIALLY THOSE IN COUNTRY AREAS BY PROMOTING COURTESY, CO-OPERATION, COMMUNITY EFFORT, ETHICAL STANDARDS AND THE WISE USE OF RESOURCES

Membership is through one of the many CWA Branches throughout Western Australia, including the metropolitan area.

There is also a Postal Branch and a Web Branch for those who are unable to attend CWA Branch meetings or for women who live in isolated areas.

Each CWA Branch endeavours to meet the needs of its own community when planning their activities and projects. Many have their own CWA Centre building, often of heritage significance.

The Nungarin Branch of CWA meets the first Thursday of each month February through to December at the Alice Williams Memorial Building, Railway Parade Nungarin. We are always seeking new members. If you would like more information about what we do please contact Eileen O'Connell mobile 0427 465 107 or email te.oconnell@bigpond.com
