Casserole Tea

This year the Nungarin Harvest Festival kicks off on the last Friday night in September with an all you can eat Country Casserole Tea donated by all of the towns people for our visitors at the Nungarin Community Recreation Centre. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Nungarin Heritage Machinery and Army Museum. Bookings not required.

MANGOWINE CONCERT

The Mangowine Concert is held the First Saturday of October every year. Keep an eye out for the main event entertainment that changes every year. Down load the newest brochures when they become available on this page. Dance the night away under the stars.

Gates open at 4.30pm at the Mangowine Homestead grounds and the pre entertainment begins on our Out Door Stage at 5.00pm with the main entertainment act commencing at 6.30pm.

VIP Gourmet Picnic Hamper Tickets (per couple) $150.00

No bookings required for Adult Gate Fee and under 17 tickets.


VIP Gourmet Picnic Hamper Tickets includes:

  • 3 course meal for 2
  • Bottle of wine of your choice red or white
  • Admission into the concert
  • Up the front seating.

Transport

Free Buses are available from Nungarin, the Nungarin Caravan Park and Merredin to the concert and return. Buses depart the Recreation Centre at 4.00pm and 4.30pm and Buses depart from Merredin at 4.00pm and return at the end of the concert.

Wheatbelt Festival Markets

(Sunday after the Concert)

The Main Street in Nungarin comes alive on Sunday morning for the Harvest Festival Markets. Stalls line the main street and fill the hall. Stalls of every description offering their wares a virtual shopper’s paradise. Enjoy a brekky burger or sausage in a bun from the Sausage Sizzle in aid of the St Johns Ambulance. Grab a box of hot delicious hot donuts cooked on the spot. Treat yourself to a hot coffee at Wegners Rural Cafe or morning tea at the Hall Café.

Blessing of the Header

Takes place at 10.30 am in the main street. Take part in the blessing ceremony service.
